Boston is a small city with European feel. Those who are adventurous and willing to try new things will really enjoy staying here. Our home is located in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood called Ashmont Hill, a small community with suburban flavor a few miles south of downtown Boston, which is 20 minutes away via the MBTA public transit Red Line. Ashmont station and Peabody Square are ten minutes walk from our home.
Our 14 room Victorian house was constructed in 1890 for a wealthy Armenian printer, J. J. Arakelyan, and is located in a historically significant district. Even though the house was designed by an architect for Victorian era formal living and has been showcased in an architectural house tour, we maintain a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Students who have stayed with us say they really like the welcoming feel of our house. We truly enjoy sharing our big beautiful house!
