We were really pleased to hear recently that a local park is now fully refurbished – the city of Boston spent close to $1 million rehabbing the 2.24-acre park. The land for the park was once part of the 19th century estate of George Derby Welles, for which our street was named. And the park will be re-named for a deserving community leader, Rev. Bill Loesch. See this link for more interesting details about the park!
